What is community?  Community refers to a group peoples who share the same interest commonly in social, political views or economics based particularly in the same society.  Generally, community means a network or a group of people gathered or lived in the same neighborhood.

Understanding of the term community has assisted us in increasing self awareness hence for the benefit of the society.  Thus, there are individuals and institutions organized activities that concerning the social assistance in the neighborhood.

We may found countless of community services formed by the public and institutions.  All created basically to achieve a certain objective for the benefit/profit of mankind.  The establishment of these community services has aid in:

1. Education/counseling - tutoring, peer counseling or consultation, books donation to schools or public libraries 


2. Medical - voluntary for local hospital/nursing homes, meals delivery  


3. Animal - voluntary for animal shelter, pet adoption programs 


4. Homelessness - cooking/serving meals for the poor/homeless, clothes donation to shelter, shelter/home building for humanity 


5. Greenery - car pool, recycle activities, communal works in residential area


6. Family/Social bondage - family day, camping/picnic, aerobic sessions
